Sydney Family Day at Luna Park

On the hot and very sunny Friday afternoon of the 1st of April, the Sydney team and their loved ones, 57 adults and 16 children, ventured to the wild side of North Sydney to Luna Park.

For many of us the greeting of the laughing clown was a first time event, for some a reminder of childhood memories from previous visits and for others, a reminder of how old we actually are since we were bringing our own children to Luna Park for the first time as parents.

Many of us took advantage of the sunlight and warmth and enjoyed the many rides before dinner. The Dodgem Cars turned mild mannered consultants into road raged individuals. The Tango Train charged full steam ahead into a tango and then backwards into a fully fledged 1980′s disco inferno! And the Wild Mouse had everyone’s hair standing on edge over its 400 metre long, 15 metre high track.

After a very yummy dinner and lots of drinks to quench the thirst of the riding fanatics, the enthusiasts took to the real rides! The Tumble Bug, The Rotor, The Flying Saucer, The Spider and Moon Ranger all got the juices flowing up and … let’s not go any further! For those with a little less need for speed, the Ferris Wheel and Carousel, Coney Island and the Kiddie Rides kept everyone of all ages entertained for hours.

A big thank you to the organisers for a great evening.
